A Brief but long update

Wow~ Been pretty long since the last entry...So it's time to brush the cobwebs off this page and say something. Hehe~ =)

Well... The 3rd semester of school has started and it's busy busy busy (hence the lack of updates)! We've had assignments to hand in within the first 3 weeks and more on the way of course (in fact, there are 2 due tomorrow and that's with a deadline extension)...>.<" and we only had a pathetic 1 week break (of which half was spent sleeping) between last semester and this one.=( BOO. Also, exam results have come out (uh-oh!) for all but one subject. All things considering, got better grades this semester even though i didn't spend as much time studying. Part of me felt disappointed because i wanted a credit for law, but ended up with just a pass. Marketing was a credit (yay!) and accounting was abysmal (read, I failed) as usual. Hopefully, the last sub will be a credit too. =)

But still, praise God i did pretty alright and my parents were okie with my results.=))

This sem, there should be no excuses for failing at all, because most of the subs are theoretical and really, I dont want (and can't afford) to fail anything anymore. This semester's subjects are:

  • Macro-economics
  • Human Resource
  • Business Communication (a common-sensical subject as my lecturer would say)- Don't you just love the word common-sensical? =P (As opposed to nonsensical~ Haha!
  • Consumer Behaviour
As usual Econs is no walk in the park, but so far so good... Hehe...Consumer Behaviour seems really related to pyschology in TP which is no mere coincidence since i did pray about taking pyschology about a year back in TP and it was the only CDS sub i prayed about because at that point of time, i really wanted to do it and somehow, i really wanted to do it with His approval.

It's really things like this that make you stop -
and go "Wow, there really is a God who cares about me, orders my steps, has a (wonderful) plan for my life (even though i may not know what's going on all the time) and He cares about me!"

Okie and now moving on (to the more fun stuff) ...
Basically just gonna talk about random things that i enjoyed doing very much~ Hehe.=P

SYC 2007! - Senior Youth Chalet
Sadly wasn't able to stay over for anything but the last night... Still we did many many fun games and it was good bonding, highlights were the forfeits (but of course)which involved alot *ahem* of dancing~ Click here to view a short clip on one of the games, courtesy of Dolly. =) Some of us also stayed up on the last night after watching The Prestige (which was a really cool show) and went to eat ice cream and watch the sunrise~=D isn't it pretty?

And as a result of staying up a whole 12 hours without sleep,went home and crashed~ Honestly, thought i could still stay up and have a productive saturday, but it so didn't happen... Haha... And that was the anti-climatic to SYC 2007 and loads of fun. =)


Also, finally managed to meet up with Christabel, we were supposed to go to the musuem but in the end we just ended up chilling in MOS and then walking around Plaza Singapura and shopping.=X and also, going with the cell people to Ice-Cube and Chomp Chomp!


Good food and great people (and music, if possible) always make my day.=))


But it seems like im putting on weight! Which is not good... Hahaha~ Okie gonna stop rambling already... Seems like a bad case of verbal diarrhoea.=X Some other really sobering things happened, but this post shall be a happy one.=) And to finish off~


THE GSS has started!!
(Just a reminder for people who forgot)


Went to Plaza Singapura for the past 2 days, on Sunday with some of the Rockers for dinner and the conversation was both interesting and gross at the same time. LOL. We also saw this shoe sale (and i didn't buy a single shoe, aren't you proud of me?=P) and a brilliant sale at Chomel where they had this really nice bag that was slashed down from $50 to $20 and i was considering whether i should buy it or not - in the end I bought it yesterday cos we went out to meet Lydia for dinner (where i over ate yet again). =) just wish it was under better circumstances... Anyways here is the bag!



It was so nice, my mum even paid me back for it.=)) Today, also went shoe shopping at Tangs and managed to get 2 pairs of shoes! Yay!! But no pictures though.=)

Lazy Weekend

See, now that holidays are here, have more time to write and update... Hehe...Nothing much to say, except that i enjoyed my very lazy weekend. =) After papers on Friday, went down to church and then went walking at Central with Sharon . It was nice just walking around without having to worry about school or anything and just basically chill... Hehe... Also managed to test my baby which has been restringed (with a bit of help from Ian ) and lots of advice from 2 pro guitarists. =) The strings are stretched, so that it doesn't go out of tune after every song, but it still needs some time to be seasoned. =) It sounded so good, so played until 3am and then went to crash... Hehe... Woke up early on Saturday morning and met Lih Min to send dear Ira off to the airport, walked around a bit then went off to meet Da Jie at Ya Kun for breakfast. =) and we both realized it's been like, almost a year since we met up!
