The Lord is my shepherd.

Psalm 23
A Psalm of David

The LORD is my shepherd;
I shall not want.
2 He makes me to lie down in green pastures;
He leads me beside the still waters.
3 He restores my soul;
He leads me in the paths of righteousness
For His name’s sake.
4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil;
For You are with me;
Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.
5 You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies;
You anoint my head with oil;
My cup runs over.
6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me
All the days of my life;
And I will dwell in the house of the LORD
Forever.

One of God's most comforting promises to us. Amen.

Hot Chocolate

Received this in an e-mail first thing in the morning and liked it so much, decided to blog it. =) Will update next week once submissions are over, till then! When they all had a cup of hot chocolate in hand, the professor said: "Notice that all the nice looking, expensive cups were taken, leaving behind the plain and cheap ones. While it is normal for you to want only the best for yourselves, that is the source of your problems...

Lazy Weekend

See, now that holidays are here, have more time to write and update... Hehe...Nothing much to say, except that i enjoyed my very lazy weekend. =) After papers on Friday, went down to church and then went walking at Central with Sharon . It was nice just walking around without having to worry about school or anything and just basically chill... Hehe... Also managed to test my baby which has been restringed (with a bit of help from Ian ) and lots of advice from 2 pro guitarists. =) The strings are stretched, so that it doesn't go out of tune after every song, but it still needs some time to be seasoned. =) It sounded so good, so played until 3am and then went to crash... Hehe... Woke up early on Saturday morning and met Lih Min to send dear Ira off to the airport, walked around a bit then went off to meet Da Jie at Ya Kun for breakfast. =) and we both realized it's been like, almost a year since we met up! That's madness~ But the year has really flown by... Went for cell (...

Then all at once it happened And i knew she had turned around Seemed like i heard her say " Run on, there's nothing left behind you . " I could almost hear her whisper " Be strong, Dont ever slow down ." Its ringing in my ears The silent testimonies Oh, Salt pillar, i'll never turn around Down through the years, since i started walking Some friends have come and gone I don't know why some changed their mind. But in my memories, i see the monuments to failure And now i know if i would listen, i could hear them testify I can hear them saying "Run on, there is nothing left behind you" Those old friends are shouting "Be strong, don't ever slow down" Its ringing in my ears All thier silent testimonies. Oh, salt pillars I'll ne...
