Revelation

Heyo.
Okie. Quite a few people have been asking me to update my bloggiee... So i shall. Hehe. =P Anyways, i've quit my job and i'm really sad cos i'm gonna miss the people who work there loads. Especially everyone who was so kind to me and of cos my dear JZ who always looks out for me cos she knows how blur i am. hehe... Thanks LOADS to ya gal. Gonna miss ya loads. But then again, there is also tons of stuff to look forward to such as - Senior Youth Chalet that starts next week!! Yay!!! ^-^ Although i've also been having pretty mixed feelings about that becos it means that reach out to my frenz. Another thing that i'm really excited about is ISLAND R U S H 2005!! Wheeeee!! I know that all of us are just gonna have an awesome time!!
Well... Anyways i just wanted to post something concerning the word revelation tonight. Now what does the word revelation really mean? According to the dictionary, the word revelation means a manifestation of divine will or truth or a dramatic disclosure (personally that's my favourite although i'm not really what you would consider a drama-mama. Lol.) How do you get a revelation? By reading the word of God, talkin to people or through experience. You also have to be hungry in order to get something from God. And revelation will make you walk differently. When you get a revelation, it also excites you and potentially shock you. But however it happens, it's definitely gonna draw you closer to God.
A revelation will drive you and it becomes something that you LIVE and that your HEART beats for and when you react to a revelation guess what? You get God's attention. It makes me think.
What would happen IF we got so zealous for God that He decided "Ok, since you've got the hunger I'm going to use you DESPITE your background and history, I'm going to make you great. You had some some sins that you were going to reap, but I'm changing all of that now." Becos when God sees His child in DESPERATION trying to get close and not being moved by anything, God can't control himself.
And for everyone who's feeling a little bit down or discouraged, just remember this - that God gives you the strength to stand through anything and He's standing with you the whole time. =)

Lazy Weekend

See, now that holidays are here, have more time to write and update... Hehe...Nothing much to say, except that i enjoyed my very lazy weekend. =) After papers on Friday, went down to church and then went walking at Central with Sharon . It was nice just walking around without having to worry about school or anything and just basically chill... Hehe... Also managed to test my baby which has been restringed (with a bit of help from Ian ) and lots of advice from 2 pro guitarists. =) The strings are stretched, so that it doesn't go out of tune after every song, but it still needs some time to be seasoned. =) It sounded so good, so played until 3am and then went to crash... Hehe... Woke up early on Saturday morning and met Lih Min to send dear Ira off to the airport, walked around a bit then went off to meet Da Jie at Ya Kun for breakfast. =) and we both realized it's been like, almost a year since we met up!
